Mountain Bike Rides
Huddersfield Star Wheelers have a long established mountain bike section that ride out every Saturday morning at 10am from various locations taking in some of the best off road trails and single track in the area. More detail on the upcoming rides can be found in the ride calendar and are normally around 14 to 22 miles or 2 to 3 hours in length and have mixed technical terrain which is all ridable without getting your bike off the ground. ‘Airtime’ is optional.
Huddersfield Star Wheelers mountain bike rides are an inclusive affair with all riders starting together and finishing together with nobody being left behind. Bikes must be suitable and maintained for the terrain being ridden and all riders must wear a helmet. The carrying of spare tubes, pump, multi tool, food, drink, emergency contact details and some spare cash in case of emergency is strongly advised, and having fun is essential.
Mountain Bike Ride Start Points
All of the starting points of the MTB rides will be found in the ride calendar but some are approximate pin points. More detailed information will appear on the map below.
