Huddersfield Star Wheelers – Time Trial – Sunday 3rd July 2016

Huddersfield Star Wheelers Time Trial

There are only 9 days to go before you can enter the Huddersfield Star Wheelers Time Trial. The event will be held on Sunday 3rd July 2016 but the closing date is midnight Tuesday 21st June.

The event is a Yorkshire SPOCO event and takes place on the undulating V915 course between the Sovereign junction and Hoylandswaine roundabout. This is not a course for the record breakers given the 500ft of climbing along this 10 mile course, and depending on the conditions of the day riders can be easily 20% slower than on a flat course.

So why not give it a go? You don’t need a ‘machine’ – just a bike, an optional rear light, and the will to empty the tank over ten miles. This is not a race – this is a personal test so enter on line and join in the fun.

The event starts at 10:30am and signing on will be from 9:30am and further instructions will follow to all entrants. Full details and on line entry can be found at https://www.cyclingtimetrials.org.uk/race-details/12121
